Central Air Conditioners
Air conditioners are designed to draw warm air from the house, removing heat and providing cool air which is distributed through the ductwork in your home. An A/C is only part of your central heating and cooling system. You will also require a heat source to keep your house warm during colder months – a furnace.
Air Source Heat Pumps
A heat pump is an excellent choice for residential HVAC systems – especially in moderate climates. Typical heat pump systems require an outdoor unit (heat pump) and an indoor unit (air handler) to function. These versatile heating and cooling systems can both cool AND heat your home. In the Summer, your heat pump will take the heat from the indoor air and push it outside your home. In the Winter, your heat pump will extract heat from the outdoor air and pull it inside your home.
